Remember when Ghost Recon first came out? They did false advertising of not showing any screen shots of Ghost Recon being a first person shooter without an on-screen weapon. I had ended up purchasing the game and I was so pissed off, because they pulled that shit off. A first person shooter in my book always shows your gun on-screen. I never was able to return it and I felt like shit for having to pay for a game that was falsely advertised.
[N¤S]жߣ@cҜPΣ@i2£ж: eh fuck em all, u know how ubi ripped us off with ghost recon the first 2 times? WRAITH: it was alright [N¤S]жߣ@cҜPΣ@i2£ж: they advertised images of the game without first person, then first person shows no gun [N¤S]жߣ@cҜPΣ@i2£ж: i'd have to say one of the biggest rip offs of ubisoft WRAITH: its just a view point WRAITH: i thought that ghost recon was challenging while being good looking for the time being but yeah it had its flaws just like every othergame WRAITH: and assassins creed wasnt that bad [N¤S]жߣ@cҜPΣ@i2£ж: yea but flaws shouldnt happen by false advertising [N¤S]жߣ@cҜPΣ@i2£ж: they should happen naturally

A few things...
(From what I have seen,) Ubi did not say anything about first person view having the weapon displayed on the screen, nor did they have any images displaying that.
To me, this is almost just as bad as false advertising, which in other words, is lying.
Instead of lying, they just, failed to show the customer that, they completely left out anything about first person view. Saying nothing about it means not lying, but leaving out information.
In my opinion, it is like a loophole. What sucks is, there is nothing illegal about that, it's just pretty weak. :s

ubi is known for false advertisment or 'buffing up' the advertisments....they've proven again and again they don't care about satisfied customers, they care about money...
jokes on them.. with the current economy, game sales will slow down... and those that are bought, will be chosen carefully... a good percent of that will be chosen by customers from TRUSTED brands.....
which means ubi will lose customers.... hopefully enough will be lost so that they can't continue to mislead us... games will end up being scrutinized more-so then they would 2-3 years ago.. somehow i doubt that will result in anything positive for ubi....
just have faith.

I agree with you, but... A lot of kids don;t know anything about ubi being terrible, and parents who are buying the game for their kid as a gift maybe, they have no idea either, you know. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ ".they've proven again and again they don't care about satisfied customers, they care about money..." /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/
